- Regular prophylactic use (maximum 2 x daily) prevents crust formation and catheter obstruction.

Dosage form
How to use
- Warm Uro-Tainer® in lukewarm water to body temperature. Disinfect hands carefully in the meantime. If possible, wear disposable gloves.
- Open the plastic bag and remove the Uro-Tainer®.
- Close the Uro-Tainer® tube with the plastic clamp.
- Remove the safety seal from the cap. Turn and remove the cap without touching the sterile connection cone.
- Open the clamp and allow a few drops of Uro-Tainer® rinsing solution to flow into the catheter to remove any air pockets.
- Insert the connection cone into the catheter funnel and allow Uro-Tainer® irrigation solution to flow in.
- Hold the Uro-Tainer® above the level of the bladder and allow the fluid to flow in using gravity. Do not exert any pressure on the bag. Close the plastic clamp and do not detach the bag from the catheter.
- After 5 minutes, open the clamp and lower the Uro-Tainer® below the bladder level so that the fluid flows back into the bag. When the bag is full, close the tube with the clamp and detach the connector from the catheter by twisting it slightly. Connect the drainage bag to the catheter and dispose of Uro-Tainer® after use. Disinfect hands. Use Uro-Tainer® for single use only.
