Macusan® tablets are a dietary supplement with antioxidant properties. The intake of certain nutrients such as vitamin C, vitamin E, zinc, selenium, lutein, zeaxanthin and omega-3 fatty acids is very important for the eyes.

These ingredients are mainly found in fruit, vegetables and fish. The composition of Macusan® is carefully balanced to provide valuable support for the vital substances ingested with food. The carotenoid lutein accumulates in particularly high concentrations in the central region of the retina. Lutein is considered a light filter and can protect the eye from harmful sun rays. The antioxidant properties of lutein and zeaxanthin help to protect the visual cells from the damaging effects of free radicals. Ginkgo has a vitalising and beneficial effect on the entire human organism and promotes blood circulation in the smallest vessels of the eye (capillaries). Macusan® is used for the maintenance phase to maintain lutein levels.

Indications:

• For the dietary treatment of people with age-related macular degeneration (AMD) - for the maintenance phase.

Directions

Take 1 tablet daily, preferably with plenty of liquid with a meal.

• Ingredients: Bulking agents: microcrystalline cellulose. Sugar, linseed oil, vitamin C, lutein, anti-caking agent: polyvinylpyrrolidone. Ginkgo biloba extract, vitamin E acetate, anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide. Coating agent: shellac. Zinc oxide, zeaxanthin, anti-caking agent: talc. Magnesium salts of fatty acids, copper gluconate, folic acid, sodium selenite.
