Product information "Vitaworld cinnamon capsules with Ceylon cinnamon"
Vitaworld Cinnamon Capsules with Ceylon cinnamon are a dietary supplement with cinnamon (Cinnamomum ceylanicum), magnesium, zinc, chromium, vitamin C + E to support normal energy metabolism.
Everyone knows cinnamon as a spice in the winter and Christmas season, but still only a few people know about the healing powers of cinnamon. It is considered to be one of the oldest spices of all; in China, for example, it was already known in 3000 BC. Cinnamon has also been used in naturopathy for almost as long, and the bark of the cinnamon tree is particularly suitable for therapeutic purposes. In addition to valuable essential oils such as cinnamaldehyde and diterpenes, it also contains mucilage, eugenol and oligomeric proanthocyanidins. The Ceylon cinnamon tree (true cinnamon tree) originates from Sri Lanka, Burma and Bangladesh.
However, the difference between Ceylon and cassia cinnamon is particularly interesting: Ceylon cinnamon contains very little coumarin, whereas cassia cinnamon has a high coumarin content. As coumarin can cause liver damage if ingested in high quantities, we only use Ceylon cinnamon for our product. Cinnamon capsules with Ceylon cinnamon also contain chromium, which contributes to the maintenance of normal blood sugar levels, as well as vitamin C, vitamin E, zinc and magnesium to support energy metabolism and carbohydrate metabolism.
