- The heartbeat is triggered by the electrical excitation of the heart muscle cells. The basis for this excitation is a constant exchange of the minerals sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium inside and outside the cells. If this balanced ratio is disturbed , this can lead to irregularities in the heartbeat. This is referred to as cardiac arrhythmia, which is often perceived by patients as palpitations or palpitations .

How to use
