The scent of organic Melissa indicum oil, also known to many as citronella, is a very popular ingredient for combating mental fatigue thanks to its freshness. Consequently, it is often used when facing a heavy workload, for example when concentration is waning or work is becoming overwhelming. Generally speaking, the properties of Melissa indicum oil come into their own as a room fragrance: it is also often used to envelop one’s home in a sea of freshness. Moreover, during the warmer months, it can serve as a repellent against insects.

Organic Melissa indicum oil has also become popular amongst sauna-goers: for an invigorating sauna infusion, a few drops of the essential oil can be added to the ladle – the amount should be adjusted according to the size of the sauna.
