Product information "Stieprox Intensive Shampoo"

Stieprox Intensive Shampoo contains 1.5 % ciclopirox olamine and is used to treat reddened, itchy and flaking scalps.

In most cases, dandruff is a very unpleasant but harmless problem. The most common trigger for dandruff is a yeast fungus, which is part of the healthy human scalp flora. However, if its numbers are greatly increased, this favours the development of dandruff.

The anti-dandruff active ingredient Ciclopirox-Olamin (CPO) contained in Stieprox Intensive Shampoo specifically helps to combat the cause of dandruff and combats dandruff and itching. Existing dandruff is removed during washing.

How to use

Use Stieprox Intensive Shampoo two to three times a week over a period of 4 weeks.
Only apply Stieprox Intensive Shampoo to the hair, scalp and, if affected, the neighbouring skin areas.
You can use a mild shampoo between applications of Stieprox Intensive Shampoo.

How is Stieprox Intensive Shampoo applied?

Moisten the hair.
Apply a sufficient amount of Stieprox Intensive Shampoo to lather the scalp, hair and neighbouring affected areas. Massage the scalp and, if necessary, neighbouring skin areas vigorously with the fingertips.
Rinse hair and scalp thoroughly.
Repeat application steps 2 to 4. Stieprox Intensive Shampoo should be left on the scalp for a total of 3 - 5 minutes for both applications combined.

Make sure that Stieprox Intensive Shampoo does not get into your eyes. If this happens, rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Ingredients

The active ingredient is: Ciclopirox-Olamin.
100 g shampoo contains 1.5 g ciclopirox-olamine.
The other ingredients are: Sodium lauryl ether sulphate, cocamidopropyl betaine, sodium monohydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate, citric acid monohydrate, coconut diethanolamide, hexylene glycol, oleyl alcohol, polysorbate 80, polyquaternium-10, sodium hydroxide, fragrance AF17050 (fragrance, contains propylene glycol), , purified water.
