Application
- Full baths: Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, we recommend 330g of SpeltenbachER HEALING SALT for a bath with 80 litres of water.
- Hand baths: For a hand bath, dissolve two heaped tablespoons (approx. 60g) of Speltenbach HEALING SALT in 5 litres of water.
- Foot baths: For a relaxing foot bath, take two heaped tablespoons (approx. 60g) of Speltenbach HEALING SALT in 10 litres of water. Foot baths with Speltenbacher HEALING SALT have proved particularly effective for the onset of colds.
- The brine baths should last a maximum of 20 minutes and have a temperature between 32° and 37° Celsius. The effectiveness of the baths is improved if you do not rinse off the HEALING SALT immediately after use. An improvement in the symptoms can be expected after four to five applications.
- Envelopes: For compresses, dilute SpeltenbachER HEALING SALT to taste and soak a cotton cloth in it, which you can fix to the affected area with an elasticated bandage. To avoid an unpleasant burning sensation on open and inflamed areas, start with a low concentration of HEALING SALT, which you can slowly increase as the area heals.
- For quick application between uses, it has also proved very effective to dissolve a tablespoon of HEALING SALT in a litre of water and fill it into a spray bottle. This allows you to treat affected areas of skin on the go or more frequently.
- Tip: The easiest way to treat affected areas of the scalp is to dissolve SpeltenbachER HEALING SALT in water and pour it into a disposable syringe or spray bottle and apply it to the skin.
- Instructions: Speltenbacher HEALING SALT is intended for external use only.
- Contraindications: Speltenbacher HEALING SALT should not be used in cases of cardiovascular insufficiency and acute attacks of inflammatory rheumatic diseases. The main effect of brine baths is based on various circulatory changes that occur within a few minutes. Accordingly, iodine-containing brine baths can be used for essential hypertension and diseases of the vascular system such as arteriosclerosis. SpeltenbachER HEALING SALT is intended for external use only. Keep HEALING SALT out of the reach of children. Please consult your doctor or pharmacist.
