Siccasan eye gel is an agent to support wound healing. Panthothenic acid is a water-soluble vitamin which, as coenzyme A, is involved in numerous metabolic processes. When applied externally, dexpanthenol can compensate for an increased panthothenic acid requirement of the damaged skin or mucous membrane.
Areas of application:
- Treatment of non-inflammatory corneal diseases, e.g. corneal dystrophies, corneal degeneration, recurrent corneal erosions and lesions in contact lens wearers
- Additional medication to support the healing process in cases of corneal and conjunctival damage, chemical burns and burns
- Adjuvant for a specific therapy of infectious corneal processes of bacterial, viral or mycogenic origin

Application
- For instillation into the conjunctival sac.
- Always use Siccasan® Eye Gel exactly as directed in this leaflet. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure. Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, the dosage should be adhered to.
Dosage:
- Adults: instil 1 drop of gel into the conjunctival sac 3 to 5 times a day and before going to bed. Hold the tube vertically downwards when dripping. If you are also using other eye preparations, there should be at least 15 minutes between the application of the different preparations. Siccasan® eye gel should always be applied last. Contact lenses should be removed before using Siccasan® Eye Gel and only reinserted 15 minutes later.
