Omega 3 VEGAN provides the optimum daily dose of essential and polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids of purely vegetable origin in a carrageenan-free capsule. DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) from algae oil in bioactive triglyceride form as a contribution to the maintenance of normal heart function. DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal vision and normal brain function. The positive effect is achieved with a daily intake of 250 mg each of DHA and EPA.

Omega-3 fatty acids belong to the group of polyunsaturated fatty acids and are essential for human life. The body must absorb them from food as it cannot produce them itself.

The guaranteed GMO-free microalgae Schizochytrium sp. is cultivated in closed indoor systems. This means that there are no points of contact with the marine ecosystem and consequently no contamination by environmental toxins or heavy metals in the raw material.

The algae oil has a Totox value of 2 and is stabilised by rosemary extract, extracts with a high tocopherol content and ascorbyl palmitate (vitamin C).

The fatty acids in algae oil are in triglyceride form, which has a particularly high bioavailability.

The capsule shell is 100% carrageenan-free. It consists of a non-enteric cellulose derivative (HPMC). HPMC is a modified form of natural cellulose (indigestible plant fibre), the structure of which can be modified so that it is able to bind liquid. The hard gel capsule made of HPMC dissolves in the stomach and releases the omega-3 fatty acids.
