Magnesium is an essential mineral that is necessary for many enzymatic processes in the body. In nature, magnesium is mainly found in minerals such as magnesite (magnesium carbonate) and dolomite (magnesium calcium carbonate).

The product contains magnesium bisglycinate, a special chelated compound in which magnesium is bound to the amino acid glycine and an organic magnesium salt is formed. This form is characterised by particularly high bioavailability and good tolerability - the risk of digestive problems is significantly reduced.

Bisglycinates also elegantly avoid so-called mineral competition, in which different minerals compete for the same transport route and thus impair each other's absorption. The body recognises bisglycinates not as minerals but as amino acids, which means they can be absorbed more efficiently.

• Advice: It is recommended to divide the daily dose into 3 portions. A single dose of more than 250 mg magnesium can have a possible laxative effect.
