- Acacia fibre, also known as gum arabic, comes from the acacia tree species Acacia senegal and is also a soluble source of fibre. It is traditionally valued for its prebiotic properties.
- Alpha-amylase is an enzyme produced in the saliva and pancreas that helps digest carbohydrates by converting starch into sugar.
- Bromelain is extracted from the pineapple (Ananas comosus) and is known for its ability to help metabolise proteins. It consists of a mixture of different enzymes, including proteases, which help to break down proteins into smaller peptides and amino acids.
- Papain is extracted from the papaya (Carica papaya) and is another enzyme with similar properties to bromelain.
- The bacterial strains it contains play an important role as part of the human intestinal microbiome. Bifidobacterium lactis L 1038 is a naturally occurring intestinal bacterium that produces acetic acid and lactic acid. Lactobacillus acidophilus L 1903 belongs to the lactic acid bacteria and mainly colonises the digestive and vaginal tract.
- The added beetroot is rich in fibre and contains the polyphenol colouring betanin.
- Valuable niacin in the form of nicotinamide is considered to be better tolerated and plays an important role in maintaining normal mucous membranes, such as the intestinal mucosa. It is also known for its contribution to normal energy metabolism and the maintenance of normal skin.
- The formula is rounded off with vitamin C (ascorbic acid) for a normal immune system and to protect the cells from oxidative stress.

Directions
- Stir 1 heaped scoop of powder (approx. 10g) into a glass of water daily and drink immediately, drink plenty of water.
- Advice: Not recommended for children under 6 years of age.
