Seewald Ortho BIO Hericium IGELSTACHELBART capsules are a food supplement featuring a balanced formula containing certified organic medicinal mushroom extract from Hericium, combined with vitamin C from the Indian gooseberry (amla berry).

Hericium, also known as lion’s mane (Hericium erinaceus), is a medicinal mushroom found primarily in the temperate forests of Asia, Europe and North America. For centuries, it has been highly valued in traditional Chinese nutrition for its harmonising properties.

Hericium contains important bioactive compounds such as polysaccharides, beta-glucans and hericenones. Our high-quality mushroom extract is certified organic, produced to the highest standards of purity and sustainability, and standardised to contain 30% polysaccharides and 20% beta-glucans.

Vitamin C is the ideal complement to the medicinal mushroom Hericium and plays an important role in protecting cells – including those in the gut – from oxidative stress. Furthermore, vitamin C supports the normal function of the nervous and immune systems.

The vitamin C is derived from organically grown amla berries. Amla, also known as Indian gooseberry (Phyllanthus emblica), is one of the richest natural sources of vitamin C, with a high natural content of vitamin C, polyphenols, flavonoids and antioxidants. Our organic amla extract is standardised to 50% vitamin C and, according to current research, is characterised in particular by its sustained bioavailability and good tolerability – it is a suitable source of vitamin C for people with a sensitive stomach or histamine sensitivity.

Organic Hericium is certified as an organic food product and bears the EU organic logo as well as the Austria Bio Garantie seal (AT-BIO-301) in accordance with the Austrian Food Code.
