The medicinal mushroom Agaricus, also known as Agaricus subrufescens or almond mushroom, originally comes from Brazil and has long been an essential part of traditional folklore there. Agaricus is said to have numerous positive properties. It was traditionally used by the indigenous peoples of Brazil to support general vitality and well-being. It is also considered a gourmet mushroom due to its slightly almond-like odour and taste. The mushroom contains a variety of bioactive compounds, including polysaccharides, beta-glucans and triterpenes

The high-quality organic medicinal mushroom extract from Agaricus is cultivated and processed in certified organic quality. It meets criteria of the highest purity and sustainability and is characterised by a particularly high content of valuable ingredients such as polysaccharides (30%) and beta-glucans (20%).

The vitamin C comes from organically grown amla berries. Amla, also known as Indian gooseberry (Phyllanthus emblica), is one of the richest natural sources of vitamin C with a high natural content of vitamin C, polyphenols, flavonoids and antioxidants. The BIO Amla extract is standardised to 50% vitamin C and, according to current research, is particularly characterised by its sustained bioavailability and good tolerability - it is a suitable source of vitamin C for people with a sensitive stomach or histamine sensitivity.
