How do the SEA-BAND® acupressure bands® work?

The SEA-BAND acupressure bands are worn underneath both wrists. The plastic button on the inside exerts a light, carefully controlled pressure on the Nei-Kuan acupressure point and thus prevents or eliminates the various types of nausea. As this acupressure point is said to be highly effective, the effect usually occurs within 2 to 5 minutes and is maintained as long as the bands are worn. The SEA-BAND acupressure band has been tested by doctors and hospitals in more than 25 clinical studies and has been used millions of times in over 50 countries. The band can be worn safely by pregnant women and children as it is not a drug and does not cause any side effects.

Wrist circumference over 14 cm

Application

Place the middle three fingers on the inside of your wrist where the edge of the ring finger is next to the first joint crease. The Nei-Kaun point is located under your index finger, between the two middle tendons.
Point the knob downwards towards the Nei-Kuan point. Repeat the process for the other wrist.

To ensure effectiveness, a band must be worn on each wrist. Sea bands can be put on before travelling or after departure.
