7 Magnesium salts - optimal absorption

• Magnesium malate: Magnesium salt of malic acid; organic magnesium compound with excellent bioavailability. Malate is involved in ATP synthesis and thus in the energy production of cells (-> malate-aspartate shuttle).
• Magnesium salts of orthophosphoric acid: Magnesium phosphate; occurs in the body in bones, teeth and muscles, among other things, and is also absorbed with green vegetables, fruit (e.g. bananas) and cereals.
• Magnesium salt of citric acid: magnesium citrate; considered a very bioavailable magnesium compound. Ideal for quickly supplying the muscles (e.g. for athletes or in case of cramps).
• Magnesium bisglycinate: chelated compound - magnesium is covalently bound to 2 molecules of the amino acid glycine. Excellent bioavailability. Glycine has antioxidant, cell-protective and anti-inflammatory effects, is involved in detoxification reactions in the liver and acts as a depressant neurotransmitter in the CNS (relaxing, sleep-promoting).
• Magnesium gluconate: Magnesium salt of gluconic acid (carboxylic acid from the group of fruit acids); organic compound with good bioavailability.
• Magnesium lactate: Magnesium salt of lactic acid; like other organic magnesium compounds, highly bioavailable.
• Magnesium L-ascorbate: Magnesium bound to ascorbic acid - a well-tolerated source of vitamin C that also supplies magnesium.

• Take 4 capsules daily with plenty of liquid. Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet.
