At 80%, collagen is the skin's most important structural protein, which is essential for smooth skin, healthy hair and nails. With increasing age, the body's natural collagen production slows down. We notice this in our skin, which is no longer as firm and smooth, dull and thinning hair, brittle nails or cellulite. UV radiation, smoking, alcohol consumption and an unhealthy diet also affect collagen production.

Mode of action

The special peptides of VERISOL® are recognised by the fibroblast cells in the dermis layer of the skin as collagen fragments and thus appear like products of catabolic processes. In this way, their collagen metabolism is stimulated to compensate for the apparent collagen degradation in the dermis. The result is a significantly higher production of dermis collagen and the extracellular matrix in general, which compensates for losses due to ageing and environmental influences.

Significantly healthier skin

VERISOL® contains optimised collagen peptides - important building blocks for healthy, firm skin. Taken regularly as a dietary supplement, VERISOL® effectively influences the skin's collagen metabolism from within. It increases the skin's moisture content and slows down the formation of wrinkles. The potential of VERISOL® has been investigated in various scientific studies.

Increased skin ^elasticity1

The first study on 69 women aged between 35 and 55 years showed that VERISOL® significantly increased skin elasticity within 4 weeks compared to a placebo treatment - with an increase of up to 15 per cent. Moreover, this effect was maintained eight weeks after taking VERISOL®. A further four weeks after the last dose, the VERISOL® group also showed a trend towards greater skin elasticity than the placebo group.

Reduction of ^wrinkles2

The second study with more than 100 women aged 45 to 65 showed that taking VERISOL® daily after four weeks significantly reduced wrinkles and led to a higher concentration of procollagen in the skin.

Improved skin structure and reduction in cellulite

Around 85 % of all women worldwide are affected by cellulite (also known as orange peel skin). Cellulite is a beauty issue, not a disease. However, it is still a flaw that many women suffer from. Cellulite is primarily caused by disorders of the dermal matrix, combined with excess subcutaneous fat pushing into the dermis and excess body fluid.
Supplementation with VERISOL® has a beneficial effect on the extracellular dermal matrix of the skin and can thus contribute to the reduction of cellulite. In contrast to current cellulite supplements, which mainly target the problem of excess fat or improve microcirculation/lymphatic drainage, VERISOL® directly stimulates the extracellular matrix formation of the skin.

Significant reduction in the degree of ^cellulite3

A double-blind, randomised, placebo-controlled study with 105 women aged between 25 and 50 years shows that daily use of VERISOL® significantly reduces the degree of cellulite. The effect was measured after 3 and 6 months of use. VERISOL® has a positive effect on the extracellular skin matrix and contributes to the regeneration of the normal structure of the dermis and subcutaneous tissue. Taking VERISOL® also led to a reduction in the formation of skin dimples. The first results were visible after 3 months. After 6 months, the results were more clearly visible. Daily intake of VERISOL® visibly reduced the appearance of cellulite in women with a BMI < 25.
Changes in dermis density were analysed as part of the study. The two ultrasound scans show side by side the skin of a participant in the placebo group compared with the skin of a participant in the VERISOL® group. The increase in elastin and collagen is clearly visible.

Promoting fingernail growth and ^health4

For many women, well-groomed fingernails are an essential part of an attractive appearance. However, many women suffer from brittle and fragile nails. The nails are often rough and can even peel off. The bioactive colleague peptides (BCP®) in VERISOL® can help you to improve nail growth and health.
The various positive effects of VERISOL® appear below in a recent study. This study shows a reduction in brittle and fragile nails after 2 months of treatment and a 42% reduction after 6 months. Compared to the control group, nail growth increased. VERISOL® resulted in statistically significant improvements in nail growth after 3 months of treatment. At the same time, there was a remarkable improvement in terms of peeling nails and significantly fewer irregularities in the nail edges. 80% of patients were completely satisfied with the VERISOL® treatment. 75% of women felt that their nails were longer, 71% stated that their nails grew faster and longer.
