Collagen, accounting for 80%, is the skin’s most important structural protein and plays a vital role in maintaining smooth skin, healthy hair and nails. As we age, the body’s natural collagen production slows down. We notice this in our skin, which is no longer as firm and smooth, as well as in dull, increasingly thinning hair, brittle nails or cellulite. How it works

The special peptides in VERISOL® are recognised by the fibroblasts in the dermis layer of the skin as collagen fragments and thus appear to be the products of catabolic processes. In this way, their collagen metabolism is stimulated to compensate for the apparent breakdown of collagen in the dermis. The result is a significantly higher production of dermal collagen and, more generally, of the extracellular matrix, which compensates for losses caused by ageing and environmental factors.

Significantly healthier skin

VERISOL® contains optimised collagen peptides – essential building blocks for healthy, firm skin. When taken regularly as a dietary supplement, VERISOL® effectively influences the skin’s collagen metabolism from within. It increases the skin’s moisture content and slows down the formation of wrinkles. The potential of VERISOL® has been investigated in various scientific studies.

Greater skin^elasticity1

The first study involving 69 women aged between 35 and 55 showed that, compared with a placebo treatment, VERISOL® resulted in a significant increase in skin elasticity within just 4 weeks – with an increase of up to 15 per cent. Furthermore, this effect persisted even eight weeks after taking VERISOL®. Even a further four weeks after the last dose, the VERISOL® group showed a trend towards greater skin elasticity than the placebo group.

Reduction in^wrinkles2

The second study, involving more than 100 women aged between 45 and 65, found that taking VERISOL® daily for four weeks significantly reduced wrinkles and led to a higher concentration of procollagen in the skin.

Improved skin texture and reduction in cellulite

Around 85% of all women worldwide are affected by cellulite (also known as ‘orange peel skin’). Cellulite is a cosmetic issue, not a medical condition. Nevertheless, it is a problem that many women suffer from. Cellulite is primarily caused by disturbances in the dermal matrix, combined with an excess of subcutaneous fat pressing into the dermis, as well as an excess of body fluid.
Supplementation with VERISOL® has a beneficial effect on the skin’s extracellular dermal matrix and can thus help to reduce cellulite. Unlike current dietary supplements for cellulite, which mainly target the problem of excess fat or aim to improve microcirculation/lymphatic drainage, VERISOL® directly stimulates the formation of the skin’s extracellular matrix.

Significant reduction in cellulite^severity³

A double-blind, randomised, placebo-controlled study involving 105 women aged between 25 and 50 years shows that daily intake of VERISOL® significantly reduces the cellulite grade. The effect was measured after 3 and 6 months of use. VERISOL® has a positive effect on the skin’s extracellular matrix and helps to restore the normal structure of the dermis and subcutaneous tissue. Taking VERISOL® also led to a reduction in the dimpling of the skin. Initial results were visible after 3 months. After 6 months, the results were more clearly evident. With daily intake of VERISOL®, the appearance of cellulite was visibly reduced in women with a BMI < 25.
Changes in dermal density were investigated as part of the study. The two ultrasound scans shown side by side compare the skin of a participant in the placebo group with that of a participant in the VERISOL® group. The increase in elastin and collagen is clearly visible.

Promoting fingernail growth and^health4

For many women, well-maintained fingernails are an essential part of an attractive appearance. However, many women suffer from brittle and fragile nails. The nails are often rough and may even peel away. VERISOL®’s bioactive collagen peptides (BCP®) can help you improve nail growth and health.
The various beneficial effects of VERISOL® are outlined below in a recent study. This study shows a reduction in brittle and fragile nails after 2 months’ treatment and a 42% reduction after 6 months. Compared with the control group, nail growth increased. After 3 months’ treatment, VERISOL® resulted in statistically significant improvements in nail growth. At the same time, there was a remarkable improvement in terms of nails lifting from the nail bed, as well as a significant reduction in irregularities at the nail edges. 80% of patients were completely satisfied with the VERISOL® treatment. 75% of women felt their nails were longer, whilst 71% stated that their nails grew faster and longer.
