- VitisBright™: New patented active ingredient*: Exclusive blend of 3 natural extracts rich in taxifolin, taxiresinol and resveratrol. Blocks the activation of melanogenesis, inhibits the enzyme tyrosinase and thus acts against the formation and accumulation of excess melanin. * Patent application filed
- Niacinamide: Inhibits melanin transfer and thus blocks the excess pigment before it forms a pigment spot. Provides a more beautiful and even complexion, moisturises.
- Tranexamic acid: derivative of the amino acid lysine. Inhibits melanin synthesis due to its anti-plasmin effect: blocks the inflammatory process that leads to hyperpigmentation.
- Hyaluronic acid: moisturises.
- Our laboratories have selected and combined three extracts to create an innovative anti-pigment efficacy based on the synergistic action of different classes of molecules. The blend of these three extracts is a registered patent called VitisBright™ and contains extracts from the branches of grapevines, the bark of silver fir and the bark of Scots pine.
- The three plant biomasses used come from upcycled supply chains and give new value to three different waste materials (vine pruning branches, pine bark and fir bark).
- The patent blocks the formation of the pigmentation spot at its origin: the polyphenolic compounds reduce the oxidation of tyrosine to dopaquinone, thus preventing melanin formation and stopping the trigger mechanism of hyperpigmentation. The stilbene compounds of the grapevine, such as resveratrol and viniferin derivatives, which are strong inhibitors due to their structural similarity to the active site of the tyrosinase enzyme, also inhibit melanin production.
