SABE belle Ginkgo Biloba Venengel is a refreshing and invigorating gel for tired and heavy legs. Its light texture is easy to massage in and leaves the skin feeling dry and silky smooth.

The plant-based ingredients, such as Ginkgo Biloba, the phytocomplex of butcher’s broom, goldenrod and lemon, and escin, strengthen and protect the blood vessels and promote blood circulation. Furthermore, thanks to its decongestant effect, the gel promotes the drainage of extracellular fluids, thereby counteracting the sensation of heaviness. Menthol also provides a pleasant cooling sensation.

Active ingredients

Ginkgo biloba extract: Protects and promotes blood circulation. Ginkgo biloba is a tree that grows up to 30 metres tall and is thought to be native to China. Its seeds and leaves offer numerous medicinal benefits, particularly for the cardiovascular system and the arteries, veins and capillaries. The extract we use is rich in flavonoids and terpene lactones, which protect the endothelium of the blood vessels and stimulate blood circulation. In this way, it improves capillary circulation and venous return.
Phytocomplex of butcher’s broom, goldenrod and lemon: Acts as an anti-oedema agent to combat swelling. A complex of active ingredients comprising three natural extracts that effectively promote blood circulation and reduce oedema: butcher’s broom, goldenrod and lemon. Extracts with a high concentration of flavonoids are obtained from these plants; due to their affinity for collagen and elastin (components of blood vessels), these flavonoids improve the elasticity of the vessels. They also have anti-oedema and decongestant effects, as they improve the resilience of the blood vessels and reduce their permeability. This phytocomplex was tested in vivo to assess its effectiveness in alleviating the symptoms associated with tired legs. Following a 2-week course of treatment, instrumental (laser Doppler and ultrasound) and centimetric measurements were also taken at the ankles and calves. The results showed that blood circulation had improved by 31 per cent and that oedema in the calves and ankles had been visibly reduced.
Escin: Promotes blood circulation. Escin is a mixture of saponins with anti-inflammatory, vasoprotective and vasoconstrictive effects. This active ingredient influences local electrolyte exchange and thus inhibits the development of oedema. It increases capillary resistance, reduces vascular permeability and thus promotes the drainage of accumulated interstitial fluid.
Menthol: Has a long-lasting refreshing and invigorating effect.

Directions for use

Apply twice daily, preferably in the morning and evening, massaging a sufficient amount carefully into the skin using circular movements from the bottom upwards. For a more refreshing effect, the gel can be stored in the fridge.
Notes: Wash hands thoroughly with cold water after use. Avoid contact with the eyes, nose, mouth and sensitive areas of the body. Do not apply to mucous membranes or broken skin. Do not use on sensitive skin or skin prone to irritation. Temporary itching may occur.
