The aloe vera cream gel contains plant-based ingredients such as pure aloe vera gel in a 200-fold concentration, Mimosa tenuiflora and bisabolol, which soothe the skin and reduce redness. It also has anti-inflammatory properties, accelerates wound healing and supports the skin’s natural regeneration process.
Active ingredients with powerful soothing and moisturising effects
Main active ingredient: Aloe vera
The aloe vera used in this product is grown in Mexico in accordance with the principles of organic farming. The aloe vera gel extracted from the harvested leaves undergoes an initial reverse osmosis process, which concentrates it and removes water. A powder is then obtained via spray-drying, which is 200 times more concentrated than the original aloe vera gel. The efficacy of the resulting extract is due to its high concentration of active ingredients, including key polysaccharides (glucomannan, pectin and cellulose), phytosterols, amino acids, vitamins and minerals.
Synergy with mimosa and bisabolol
Active ingredients that work in synergy with aloe vera have been incorporated into the formula: Mimosa tenuiflora extract and bisabolol. These plant-based ingredients enhance and maximise the effects of the cream gel:
- Soothing, anti-irritant: It inhibits the production of pro-inflammatory prostaglandins and reduces the symptoms of inflammation.
- Moisturising: It provides intense hydration.
- Antioxidant: It counteracts the effects of free radicals.
- Regenerating: It stimulates the differentiation of keratinocytes and thus the regeneration of the skin.
Formulation as a cream gel using the E.Ö.P. method
The most common products for external use based on aloe vera are gel formulations, which consist mainly of water and are characterised by their ease of application and the fresh feeling they leave on the skin, but do not remain on the skin for very long .
Our product, on the other hand, is a cream-gel. An emulsion that is as light and fresh as a gel, yet delivers the same nourishing benefits as a cream containing oils. The skin is soothed and deeply moisturised. The cream gel leaves the skin feeling soft and silky and is ideal when the skin is particularly sensitive due to irritation, redness or mild sunburn. It relieves pain, soothes and nourishes the skin.
Reddened and irritated skin
Reddened skin is a very common problem and the most frequent symptom of skin irritation. The redness is caused by dilated blood vessels, which occur as a result of skin inflammation. This is triggered by various factors:
- External factors: excessive sun exposure, air pollution, temperature fluctuations, diet (hot drinks, alcohol, spicy foods);
- Medication: mainly vasodilators and antihypertensives;
- Genetic predisposition;
- Skin ageing: from the age of 25 onwards, the skin is generally more prone to redness.
Skin redness is usually a temporary and treatable symptom. To prevent it from getting worse and to reduce its frequency, certain measures may be helpful:
- Care for the skin with specialised products that provide optimal hydration and drink at least 2 litres of water a day;
- Avoid exposure to the sun during the midday hours and protect the skin with sunscreen;
- Avoid taking excessively hot showers and use gentle cleansing products;
- Use soothing creams and gels that alleviate irritation and have a moisturising effect (e.g. containing aloe vera or calendula).
