How to use
- The suppository is gently inserted into the anus. Unless otherwise prescribed, it is best to insert it in the morning shortly before getting up. After inserting the suppository, you should hold the stool for a while to allow sufficient softening of the hardened faecal masses to take place.
- The effect sets in after approx. 15-60 minutes.
- Rösch glycerine suppositories can be used, for example, for haemorrhoidal disorders, prolonged bed rest, children with constipation or after operations, when straining to defecate should be avoided.
- Infants and toddlers (28 days to 23 months): 1 suppository of 1g
- Children from 2 years, adolescents and adults: 1 suppository of 2g
- Adults (from 18 years) in persistent cases: 1 suppository of 3g
