WICK Nasivin children gentle 0.025 % - nasal spray, 10 ML

WICK Nasivin Kinder sanft 0.025 % - Nasal Spray is a medicinal product with the active ingredient: oxymetazoline hydrochloride, for the topical treatment of the common cold (acute, allergic or runny nose). For children from 6 years of age.

WICK Nasivin Kinder sanft is a medicine for the topical treatment of the common cold. By spraying the solution into both nostrils, the inflamed nasal mucosa swells and the excessive secretion is reduced. This allows free breathing through the nose. At the same time, the ear trumpets are kept clear and the pharyngeal mucosa is decongested.

In addition, the active ingredient has proven antiviral, immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.

The effect of WICK Nasivin Kinder sanft starts within a few minutes and lasts for up to 12 hours.

WICK Nasivin Classic is used

• for the treatment of acute rhinitis (rhinitis acuta), allergic rhinitis (rhinitis allergica) and runny nose (rhinitis vasomotorica).
• to facilitate the drainage of secretions in cases of sinusitis and tubal catarrh associated with rhinitis.
• for diagnostic decongestion of mucous membranes.

Directions for use

• Infants and pre-school children (1 - 6 years): 1 spray into each nostril 2-3 times a day. Use in children aged 1-6 years only on medical prescription.
  
• Schoolchildren (6-12 years): 2 sprays into each nostril 2-3 times a day.
  
• Method of application: For nasal application. When using for the first time, remove the protective cap, take the dosing spray in your hand and pump several times until an even spray mist is emitted. The spray mechanism works by pressing on the finger rest [see Fig. 1]. Insert the spray opening into one nostril at a time and spray once. After use, clean the spray opening and replace the protective cap.
• Duration of treatment: Treatment with WICK Nasivin Kinder sanft should be as short as possible and must not exceed a period of 7 days if used continuously. If the symptoms have not subsided after 7 days of using WICK Nasivin Kinder sanft, consult a doctor before continuing treatment.
• Advice: Adults, adolescents and schoolchildren (from 6 years of age): Other preparations with a higher concentration of active ingredients are available for this age group.

What WICK Nasivin Children's Gentle 0.025 % - Nasal Spray contains:

• The active ingredient is: oxymetazoline hydrochloride. 1 ml solution contains 0.25 mg oxymetazoline hydrochloride. One spray contains approx. 45 microlitres of solution = 11 micrograms of oxymetazoline hydrochloride.
• The other ingredients are Citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate dihydrate, glycerol 85 % and purified water. Without preservatives.
