- The expected lifespan of the ProctyClean® intimate hygiene stick is approx. 12 months. For hygiene reasons, we recommend replacing the ProctyClean® intimate hygiene stick at least every 6-12 months.

How to use
- The ProctyClean® intimate care set improves numerous complaints around your anal area. The set helps with anal itching, mild inflammation, anal eczema, mariscus, faecal smearing, mild to moderate faecal incontinence and haemorrhoids.
- Note: Depending on the consistency of the stool, you can of course also use the ProctyClean® intimate care set for diarrhoea. However, it only makes sense if the stool is not watery.
- Cleaning part: The four-stage cleaning part has a rounded tip modelled on the slender side of an egg. This special shape enables easy and gentle penetration through the anal sphincter.
- Centrepiece: The purpose of the centrepiece is to prevent excessive penetration into the anal canal and soiling of the hand.
- Handle: The handle guarantees secure guidance during internal anal prophylaxis.
- Use in the shower is optimal. Depending on your mood, you can stand or squat slightly; tastes vary here.
- Then gently insert the prepared ProctyClean® intimate hygiene stick, which has been moistened with vitamin E oil, into the anus up to the intermediate piece. This makes it easier: Actively relax the anus or press lightly when inserting.
- Now move the ProctyClean® intimate hygiene stick back and forth with small longitudinal movements approx. 2 to 3 times. Do this in a way that is comfortable for you.
- Now pull the ProctyClean® intimate hygiene stick out completely and clean it withwater.
- Repeat steps 2, 3 and 4 until no more stool residue is visible on the intimate hygiene pen. Repeating these steps effectively cleans the inner mucous membrane of the anal canal.
- Almost done! When you can no longer see any stool residue on the intimate hygiene pen, remove the intimate hygiene pen once and for all and clean your external anal area thoroughly with water. Finally, the ProctyClean® intimate hygiene pen should also be thoroughly cleaned. This is best done with a hot, strong jet of water.
- Finally, dry the outer anal area gently but thoroughly with a soft cloth. Caution: do not rub! The entire cleaning process takes no more than 1-2 minutes
