Premeno® vaginal suppositories are a preparation containing hyaluronic acid, the main component of the basic substance of the skin, the local application of which protects and improves the elasticity of the vaginal mucosa while creating optimal conditions for the migration and proliferation of the cells responsible for the repair process.
Thanks to its hygroscopic properties, hyaluronic acid forms a protective barrier against the external environment and favours the process of tissue regeneration.
Premeno® vaginal suppositories are characterised by low molecular weight hyaluronic acid, which enables high bioavailability and efficacy and accelerates the mechanisms of healing and repair of vaginal mucosal injuries.
The combination of retinyl palmitate (vitamin A) and tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E) also provides an antioxidant effect against free radicals and protects the vaginal environment.

Indications

Treatment and prevention of vaginal diseases, including lesions, ectopia (so-called tissue displacement from the cervix to the cervix) and other changes in the vaginal mucosa, also caused by physical treatments (DTC, laser therapy, cryotherapy, radiotherapy) in adult women. Analgesic and lubricating effect during treatment, especially in menopausal patients.

How to use

Wash hands thoroughly before opening the packaging.
Remove a single blister cell from the blister pack, if possible without damaging the remaining blister cells.
Remove the suppository from the blister cell.
Carefully insert the suppository as deeply as possible into the vagina to avoid accidental leakage of the product.

Dosage: One suppository in the evening for 14 consecutive days. The treatment can be repeated as required. For vaginal lesions caused by physical treatment, the product should be administered from the first day of treatment.

Warnings: The use of all products for topical application, especially prolonged use, may lead to sensitisation; in this case, discontinue treatment and consult a doctor for appropriate therapy. For special gynaecological examinations or treatments, treatment must be interrupted the day before. The product may only be used vaginally. No cases of overdose have been reported under normal conditions of use. Use during pregnancy should be assessed by a doctor. Do not use the product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the packaging. Do not use the product if the packaging and/or individual blister cells are damaged. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not swallow. Any serious incident that occurs in connection with the medical device must be reported to the manufacturer and the competent authority of the Member State in which you are located.

Composition: Each 2 g vaginal suppository contains: Hyaluronic acid sodium salt 5.00 mg, tocopheryl acetate 1.00 mg, retinyl palmitate 1.00 mg, semi-synthetic glycerides as required.
