Pater Severin Carum Carvi Suppositories are a medicinal product for the treatment of flatulence and abdominal cramps. Traditional caraway suppositories made from purely natural ingredients.
Real caraway (Carum carvi L), often just called caraway or meadow caraway, belongs to the umbelliferous plant family (Apiaceae). It is one of the oldest spices and is mainly found in Asia, Africa and Europe. Caraway fruits have been found in excavations of pile dwellings dating back to 3000 BC. Caraway has been used in cooking since the 3rd century AD and is a classic spice in dishes that are difficult to digest. Caraway stimulates the activity of the digestive glands and therefore has an anti-bloating and antispasmodic effect. Carum Carvi suppositories are a medicinal product for digestive disorders with flatulence and bloating, as well as mild cramps in the stomach and intestinal area.
What is flatulence?
Basically, flatulence always occurs when too much air accumulates in the stomach. Although flatulence is unpleasant, it is part of life and is perceived differently from person to person. A small amount of gas in our intestines is normal and is part of our natural digestion. If the amount of gas in the intestine exceeds the normal level, flatulence occurs, which can often be associated with pain or cramps. Bacteria that live in our intestines play a decisive role in the development of these gases. These intestinal bacteria normally serve to break down our food components. This produces gases, which are transported to the lungs via the blood and exhaled there, and are also removed via flatulence and the anus.
Cause of flatulence
Intestinal bacteria are not the only triggers of this flatulence, which is often perceived as annoying and unpleasant. Those affected often eat far too quickly and swallow far too much air as a result. However, stress, food intolerances such as lactose intolerance or a disturbed intestinal flora can also lead to increased gas formation and trigger flatulence with pain, bloating or cramps in the stomach and intestinal tract.
Treatment of flatulence
Treatment consists of alleviating the symptoms. This can be achieved by applying heat with a soothing warm cherry stone or herbal pillow, an abdominal massage with light pressure or sport and exercise to stimulate digestion. If this is not enough, the medicinal product "Carum Carvi Suppositories St Severin" can provide rapid relief. They are suitable for adults, children and pregnant women.
