Pasta Cool, 190 G

Pasta Cool is a decongestant, anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving compress paste. It contains heparin and salicylic acid as active ingredients, as well as essential oils (rosemary oil, mountain pine oil) in a base of siliceous clay.

All of these properties together promote the reduction of haematoma and inflammatory swelling. The feeling of tension and pain or increased sensitivity to pressure diminishes and the associated restriction of movement is reduced.

Indications

• For the supportive treatment of swelling and haematoma.
• After blunt, bloodless injuries to the musculoskeletal system such as bruises, sprains or strains, for example after acute sports injuries (e.g. tennis elbow).

The unique combination of active ingredients:

• Heparin has an anticoagulant, decongestant and vasodilatory effect. It therefore counteracts the formation and enlargement of blood clots and promotes the regression of existing clots. Fluid accumulations in the tissue are broken down more quickly and inflammatory processes are favourably influenced.
• Salicylic acid has an anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving effect.
• Essential oils promote blood circulation.
• Pasta Cool also contains a cooling siliceous clay base.

Application

• For adults and adolescents aged 12 and over, apply paste 1-2 times a day.
• Use on children: Use in children (< 12 years) is not recommended as no clinical data on safety and efficacy are available for this age group.
• Method of application: For use on the skin. Apply Pasta Cool and spread over the affected area to a thickness of about the back of a knife. The smeared area can be covered with an air-permeable piece of cloth or a paper handkerchief and this cover can be lightly fixed if necessary. Paste residues can be easily removed with lukewarm water. Only use on intact skin, do not apply to mucous membranes, open wounds or eyes.
• Duration of application: In general, the poultice is not renewed for 8-12 hours. Pasta Cool is used until the symptoms subside. If you do not feel better or even worse after regular use for 5 days, consult your doctor.

Ingredients

• What Pasta Cool contains - The active ingredients are: Heparin sodium, salicylic acid, essential oils (rosemary oil, mountain pine oil). 100 g paste contains: 5000 I.U. heparin sodium, 1.0 g salicylic acid and 0.8 g essential oils (0.4 g rosemary oil, 0.4 g mountain pine oil).
• The other ingredients are: Indian lemon balm oil, methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, sorbic acid, ethyl alcohol, silica clays, glucose syrup, glycerine, silicon dioxide, sodium hydroxide, purified water.
