Passedan® Plus Valerian coated tablets are a traditional herbal medicinal product containing passionflower herb and valerian root for the treatment of nervous restlessness and sleep disorders.

This medicinal product is a traditional herbal medicinal speciality which is registered exclusively on the basis of many years of use for the above-mentioned indications. This medicinal product is used in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over.

The combination of passionflower and valerian root

• Passionflower (Passiflora incarnata) influences the central nervous system by supporting the body's own GABA activity.

Directions for use

Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age:

• For nervous restlessness: 1 to 2 times daily 2 tablets.
• For sleep disorders: 2 tablets ½ to 1 hour before bedtime.

Use in children: Use in children under 12 years of age is not recommended due to a lack of data.

Method of administration: Oral, unchewed with a little liquid (e.g. water).

Duration of use: If you do not feel better or even worse after 2 weeks, consult your doctor.

Ingredients

• What Passedan Plus Valerian contains - The active ingredients are: 1 tablet contains 250 mg dry extract of passionflower herb (Passiflorae herba) DEV 5 - 7:1 (corresponding to 1250 mg - 1750 mg passionflower herb), extractant: ethanol 50 % (V/V); 125 mg dry extract of valerian root (Valerianae radix) DEV 3 - 6:1 (corresponding to 375 mg - 750 mg valerian root), extractant: ethanol 70 % (V/V).
• The other ingredients are: Maltodextrin, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, cellulose powder, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, stearic acid, talc, glucose syrup (dry matter), sucrose, calcium carbonate (E 170), Arabic gum, tragacanth, titanium dioxide (E 171), iron oxide yellow (E 172), hypromellose, bleached wax, carnauba wax, shellac.
