Who is OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD suitable for?

Antibiotics are true "miracle weapons" for diseases caused by harmful bacteria. However, many people do not realise that the intestines are severely affected by these drugs: Antibiotic therapy not only attacks the harmful bacteria, but also radically decimates our "good" gut inhabitants. The result: a veritable "clear cut" in the gut! This allows harmful and dangerous germs (such as Clostridium difficile) and their toxins to multiply rapidly.

This imbalance in the gut can lead to diarrhoea, known as antibiotic-associated diarrhoea. Antibiotic-associated diarrhoea occurs when colicky pain and abdominal cramps or more than three defecations per day occur, the stool is very soft to liquid and the amount of stool has increased significantly. These symptoms can occur immediately or weeks after the first course of antibiotics.

Every time we take antibiotics, the variety (= diversity) of bacterial strains in our gut is also reduced. However, a high diversity of intestinal bacteria is absolutely necessary so that the intestine can fulfil its many tasks (e.g. breakdown, absorption and formation of nutrients, production of immune cells, supply of energy) without restriction.

Therefore: support the intestine with specially selected intestinal bacteria (e.g. OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD) during every antibiotic therapy in order to regulate the balance of the intestinal flora!

How does OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD work?

Extensive studies show that OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD can regulate the side effects of antibiotic therapy - namely the bacterial imbalance in the intestine - and rebuild the intestinal flora.

OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD is a food for special medical purposes (balanced diet) for diet management in the event of an imbalance in the intestinal flora during and after the administration of antibiotics.

The 10 scientifically researched bacterial strains it contains have the following properties and characteristics, to which the product owes its purpose:

• Settle sustainably in the intestine even during antibiotic therapy
• Prevent the proliferation of germs such as Clostridium difficile
• Reduce the release of toxins by Clostridium difficile

Directions for use

• Stir 1 sachet of OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD (= 5 g) into approx. 1/8 litre of water twice a day during the entire antibiotic therapy, wait at least 1 minute for activation, stir again and then drink.
• If possible, take 1 sachet once a day for 14 days after antibiotic therapy. Ideally, there should be an interval of at least 1 hour between taking OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD and the antibiotic.
• Children up to 3 years of age should take half the dosage.
• It is advisable to take the medicine on an empty stomach. If you take OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD twice a day, it is recommended to take it before breakfast and before dinner.
• If you suffer from fructose intolerance, you should extend the activation time to at least 30 minutes. During this time, the bacteria metabolise all the fructooligosaccharides. This means that no fructose enters the intestine.
