Ökopharm® For the joints* capsules are a food supplement with UC-II - the patented native type II collagen, to support the healthy nutrition of bones, cartilage and connective tissue.

The joints

Age, obesity, sport or poor posture can put varying degrees of strain on joint function, so it is important to look after the health of our joints. Among other things, carefully composed micronutrients help to support the joints. In addition to the supply of important joint components, native type II collagen is worth mentioning. It is a natural component of connective tissue and the main component of the cartilage in our joints. The branded raw material UC-II® preserves the structure of natural type II collagen using a gentle, patented process. It is obtained from chicken cartilage.

For bone and cartilage health

Vitamin D3 and zinc support the maintenance of normal bones.
*Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for normal cartilage function.

For connective tissue

Manganese supports the formation and copper the maintenance of normal connective tissue.

For regeneration and cell protection

Vitamins B2, C, E, copper, manganese, selenium and zinc contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Vitamins B2, B6, B12 and C, as well as niacin, contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, as well as to normal energy metabolism.

Chondroitin sulphate: This particularly large molecule is contained as chondroitin sulphate, which occurs naturally in cartilage. It is a component of articular cartilage.
Glucosamine hydrochloride: This naturally occurring amino sugar is a component of connective tissue, cartilage and synovial fluid.
UC-II® - the patented native type II collagen: Unlike commonly used collagens, the patented manufacturing process preserves the type II collagen in its native form.
Hyaluronic acid: It has an extremely high water-binding capacity.
Methylsulphonylmethane: The abbreviated form of this sulphur supplier is MSM. Sulphur is a component of many amino acids found in cartilage tissue.
High-quality bamboo extract: ÖKOPHARM® Gelenke contains a high-quality bamboo extract that is known for its silicon content. Silicon is a trace element found primarily in connective tissue structures, bones and cartilage.
Molybdenum: This mineral supports the normal metabolism of sulphur-containing amino acids.
With Phyto-Panmol® Vitamin C!This is obtained from the fruity acerola cherry using a gentle extraction process. Acerola cherries (Malpighia glabra L.) originally come from Central America and are considered to be particularly rich in natural vitamin C.

Directions

Take 3 capsules once a day with sufficient liquid.
Tip: Use over a period of 3 to 6 months is recommended, as the effect builds up continuously.
Warning: People who suffer from diabetes mellitus or have a limited glucose tolerance are recommended to monitor their blood sugar levels when taking glucosamine preparations. People who take coumarin-type anticoagulants to thin the blood should not take products containing glucosamine.
