Nicotinell® TTS 20 (14mg/24h) transdermal patches are an over-the-counter nicotine replacement product with the active ingredient nicotine for supportive use in smoking cessation. This is released continuously over 24 hours.
Nicotinell belongs to a group of medicines that are used to help you give up smoking. Nicotinell is a transdermal patch and is similar to a plaster, which contains the active ingredient on the side that sticks to your skin. For smokers who want to quit smoking, this medicine is used for nicotine addiction to relieve nicotine withdrawal symptoms.
Are you a regular smoker? Then the Nicotinell 24-hour patch is the first choice for gradually reducing nicotine dependence. Over a period of 9-12 weeks, the amount of nicotine is gradually reduced until the body no longer receives any nicotine. This is a gentle way of gradually quitting.

Ingredients
- The active ingredient is nicotine.
- Each transdermal patch contains 35.0 mg nicotine in a 20 cm² patchand nominally delivers 14 mg nicotine in 24 hours.
- The other ingredients are: basic butyl methacrylate copolymer (Eudragit E 100),aluminium-coated polyester film, acrylate-vinyl acetate copolymer (Duro-Tak 387-2516),medium-chain triglycerides (Miglyol 812), paper 26 g/m², siliconised aluminium-coatedpolyester film, brown ink.
