- Lactoferrin is a protein that is found in almost all mammals and especially in their breast milk. Lactoferrin is able to bind iron in a targeted manner or release it again where it is needed. All cells in our body, including fast-growing tumour cells or bacterial cells, are dependent on iron as a building material.
- This is why our organism uses lactoferrin to remove vital iron from pathogens such as bacteria. As bacteria are essentially dependent on iron, iron depletion has an indirect antibacterial effect. It can be released by leucocytes (white blood cells) and is therefore an essential component of our immune system.
- On closer inspection, this protein is a natural, gentle and endogenous substance and therefore has no side effects. However, lactoferrin still lives in the shadow of antibiotics and immunosuppressants.
- Fortunately, all mammals use the same lactoferrin, making it possible to extract lactoferrin from breast milk and use it in humans. Untreated cow's milk, for example, contains approx. 100 mg lactoferrin per litre. One pack of 60 capsules containing 250 mg each therefore corresponds to the lactoferrin content of approx. 150 litres of untreated cow's milk!

- Composition per daily dose (1 capsule): Lactoferrin 250 mg, Glycine / Glycine 165 mg.
- Nutritional values per capsule: calorific value 4.1 kJ/1.0 kcal, protein 242 mg, carbohydrates 148 mg - of which sugar < 0.5 mg, salt < 2.0 mg, lactoferrin 250 mg. Contains small amounts of fat.
