Dosage form
Directions for use
- Infants and pre-school children (1 - 6 years): With the head bent back, instil 1-2 drops into each nostril 2-3 times a day using a pipette.
- Schoolchildren (6-12 years): With the head bent back, instil 2-3 drops 2-3 times a day into each nostril using the pipette.
- Use in children aged 1-6 years only on medical prescription.
- Method of application: For nasal application. Apply to both nostrils.
- Duration of use: Treatment with Nasivin Children should be as short as possible and must not exceed a period of 7 days if used continuously. If the symptoms have not subsided after 7 days of using Nasivin Children, a doctor should be consulted before continuing treatment.
Ingredients
- The active substance is: oxymetazoline hydrochloride.
- 1 ml solution (= 40 drops) contains 0.25 mg oxymetazoline hydrochloride.
- 1 drop contains 6.25 micrograms of oxymetazoline hydrochloride.
- The other ingredients are: benzalkonium chloride solution 50 %, citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate dihydrate, glycerol 85 % and purified water.
