Directions for use
- Infants and pre-school children (1–6 years): With the head tilted back, instil 1–2 drops into each nostril using the pipette 2–3 times a day.
- School-age children (6–12 years): With the head tilted back, instil 2–3 drops into each nostril using the pipette 2–3 times a day.
- Use in children aged 1–6 years is by medical prescription only.
- Method of administration: For nasal use. Administer into both nostrils.
- Duration of use: Treatment with Nasivin Children should be as short as possible and must not exceed a period of 7 days when used continuously. If symptoms have not subsided after 7 days’ use of Nasivin Children, consult a doctor before continuing treatment.
Ingredients
- The active ingredient is: oxymetazoline hydrochloride.
- 1 ml of solution (= 40 drops) contains 0.25 mg of oxymetazoline hydrochloride.
- 1 drop contains 6.25 micrograms of oxymetazoline hydrochloride.
- The other ingredients are: 50% benzalkonium chloride solution, citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate dihydrate, 85% glycerol and purified water.
