nasic® nasal spray is used to reduce swelling of the nasal mucous membrane in the event of a cold and to support the healing of skin and mucous membrane lesions, intermittent runny nose (vasomotor rhinitis) and to treat nasal obstruction after nasal surgery.

Active ingredients

• Xylometazoline has vasoconstrictive properties and thus causes swelling of the mucous membranes.
• Dexpanthenol is a derivative of the vitamin pantothenic acid, which is characterised by its wound-healing and mucous membrane-protecting properties.

How to use

• Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, one spray of nasic nasal spray should be applied to each nostril of adults and children aged 6 years and over up to 3 times a day as required, holding the bottle vertically and inhaling gently through the nose during the spraying process. The dosage depends on the individual sensitivity and the effect.
• In children up to 14 years of age, use should be supervised by parents or adults.
• Duration of use: Do not use nasic - nasal spray for longer than 7 days without medical or dental advice. The doctor should always be consulted regarding the duration of use in children. Continuous use of nasic nasal spray can lead to chronic swelling and eventually to atrophy of the nasal mucosa.

Method of application: Nasal application.

1. Remove the protective cap from the spray head.
2. Before the first application, pump several times until a uniform spray mist is emitted. The dosing spray is ready to use immediately for all subsequent applications.
3. Insert the spray head as vertically as possible into the nostrils and pump once each time. For hygienic reasons, wipe off the spray head after use and replace the protective cap.

Ingredients

• The active ingredients are: Xylometazoline hydrochloride and dexpanthenol 10 g solution contains 10 mg xylometazoline hydrochloride and 500 mg dexpanthenol. One spray of 0.1 ml solution (equivalent to 0.10 g) contains 0.1 mg xylometazoline hydrochloride and 5.0 mg dexpanthenol.
• The other ingredients are: 0.02 mg benzalkonium chloride per spray, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, sodium monohydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate, purified water.
