Mexaratio 500 mg suppositories are a medicine containing the analgesic and antipyretic active ingredient paracetamol. To be taken for fever and pain, such as menstrual pain, headaches or toothache.

Directions for use
- Children aged 8 years and over up to 12 years (body weight 26–43 kg): 1 suppository 1–3 times a day.
- Children under 8 years of age: Mexaratio 500 mg suppositories must notbe administered tochildren under 8 years of age or weighing less than 26 kg. Mexalen is available for these children in other dosage forms or with a suitable active ingredient content.
- Adolescents and adults: Paracetamol is available for these patient groups in other suitable Mexalen dosage forms. Please seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist in this regard.
- Method of administration: Insert the suppository into the rectum. To make insertion easier, warm the suppository in your hand or dip it briefly in hot water. There should be an interval of at least 6 hours between doses.
- Duration of use: The duration of use should be limited to the duration of the illness. If symptoms persist for longer than 3 days, a doctor must be consulted.
