Directions for use
- Children from the age of 8 up to the age of 12 (26-43 kg body weight): 1 suppository 1 - 3 times a day.
- Children under 8 years of age: Mexaratio 500 mg suppositories must not be administered to children under 8 years of age or under 26 kg body weight. Mexalen is available for them in other pharmaceutical forms or with a suitable active substance content.
- Adolescents and adults: Paracetamol is available for these patient groups in other suitable dosage forms of Mexalen. Please consult your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
- Method of administration: Insert suppository into the anus. To improve lubrication, warm the suppository in your hand or dip it very briefly in hot water. The interval between two applications should be at least 6 hours.
- Duration of use: The duration of use should be limited to the duration of the illness. If the symptoms persist for longer than 3 days, a doctor must be consulted.
