Medicomp® extra sterile non-woven compresses 6-fold offer extra strong absorbency for reliable wound care. The soft, breathable compresses are ideal for cleaning and covering wounds.
The non-woven compresses are made from a mixture of viscose and polyester fibres. The viscose content is between 67% and 70%, with the remainder consisting of polyester fibres. The compresses are free from binding agents and optical brighteners, are air-permeable, six-ply and available in various sizes. The compresses can be unfolded if a larger format is required.

Application
The non-woven dressings are intended for general wound care, including surgical procedures, and can be used as a primary wound dressing for injuries, for initial cleansing of wounds and for cleansing intact and injured skin, as a carrier material for external preparations (e.g. disinfectants, ointments), as a secondary wound dressing for acute and chronic wounds, as a protective wound pad and for absorbing body fluids. They can also be used as a mechanical barrier.
