Dosage form
Directions for use
- ActiMaris® Wound Gel should be applied at room temperature (not exceeding 30 °C). Before applying the wound gel, the wound should be cleaned using ActiMaris® Wound Irrigation Solution (Forte or Sensitive). The wound gel is then applied generously to or into the wound and covered with an inert dressing, gauze or similar. The duration and frequency of application should be adapted to the individual wound conditions and continued until all slough and necrotic tissue can be easily removed and the wound appears clean.
- Depending on the wound, dressing changes for non-infected wounds may be carried out every 2 to 3 days, in accordance with the indication and stage of healing; whether necrotic tissue and debris can be removed mechanically must be decided on a case-by-case basis. In cases where dressings are difficult to remove, it is recommended to moisten the wound dressings with ActiMaris® wound irrigation solution (Forte or Sensitive) for at least 5 minutes, until the dressings can be gently removed without traumatising the wound surfaces. In the case of thick, firmly adherent fibrinous deposits or necrotic tissue, surgical debridement is primarily recommended.
- For wound cleansing, ActiMaris® Wound Gel can be used in combination with inert dressings or wound pads .

Sehr gutes Produkt
