Chlorhexidine is a substance with a proven disinfectant, antibacterial and antifungal effect. It has been proven to keep the mouth free of deposits and the gums or skin folds in good condition. It is particularly effective in the oral cavity and, unlike other substances, chlorhexidine binds to proteins and tooth enamel and is released slowly over the following 24 hours.

Dentihex has a special paste formulation that allows the product to be easily applied and absorbed by the animals and adhere to the oral mucosa and teeth. The formation of tartar and plaque can be slowed down or even prevented with regular use of Dentihex, maintaining a healthy oral environment.

How to use

• When administering directly into the mouth, it is advisable to attach the enclosed applicator to the tube. This allows easier access to the posterior gums. Externally, the paste should be spread thoroughly over the affected area with a clean finger. In the mouth, the paste is spread over the animal's tongue. For best results when used in the oral cavity, Dentihex should be administered after a meal. Dentihex can be administered daily or weekly as required.
• Notes: Dentihex is very well tolerated. In very rare cases, cats may salivate. With prolonged use, Dentihex can discolour the teeth brown. Your vet can easily remove this discolouration using ultrasound. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Harmful to aquatic organisms with long-lasting effects. Avoid release into the environment.
