Vetoquinol CARE Uro-Pet® Gel is a dietary supplement for dogs and cats designed to reduce the risk of struvite stones recurring.

Uro-Pet helps acidify the urine due to its DL-methionine content. Uro-Pet is a palatable paste with urine-acidifying properties to support urinary tract health. The required dose varies according to individual needs and should be adjusted in line with the decrease in urine pH.

Usage

Recommended duration of use:Up to 6 months. 

Feeding recommendation: (with the normal daily ration): Administer directly into the mouth, with food or drinking water. 

• Cats: ½ – 1 teaspoon (3 – 6 g) 2 or 3 times a day

• Dogs: ½–3 teaspoons 2 or 3 times a day

Ingredients

• Composition: Glucose syrup, malt, soya oil, fish oil, sugar cane molasses. Urine acidifying agents: methionine.
• Analytical constituents: Crude fat 28.2%, moisture 18.9%, crude fibre 5.5%, crude protein 5.1%, crude ash 0.3%, sodium 0.05%, potassium 0%, sulphur 0%, chloride 0%, magnesium 0%, calcium 0%, phosphorus 0%.
• Additives per kg: Amino acids, their salts and analogues: DL-methionine (technically pure) (3c301) 80,000 mg, preservatives. Contains glucose and soya oil derived from genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
