How to use
- The recommended dose for adults and children aged 6 years and over is one tablet daily.
- Elderly patients aged 65 years and over: Provided kidney function is normal, no dose adjustment is necessary in elderly patients.
- Use in children: The use of Levocetirizine Hexal 5 mg film-coated tablets is not recommended for children under 6 years of age, as no dose adjustment is possible with the film-coated tablets.
- The film-coated tablets should be swallowed whole with water. They can be taken with or without meals. The duration of treatment depends on the type, duration and course of your symptoms. Your doctor or pharmacist will advise you on this.
Ingredients
- The active substance is levocetirizine.
- One film-coated tablet contains 5 mg levocetirizine dihydrochloride corresponding to 4.2 mg levocetirizine.
- The other ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate and magnesium stearate (E 572), hypromellose (E 464), titanium dioxide (E 171) and macrogol 400.
