Rennie® Spearmint Antacid Lozenges can be taken to relieve symptoms of excess stomach acid (e.g. heartburn). They neutralise stomach acid and thus counteract stomach acidity.
Excess stomach acid can be caused by a stressful daily routine, as well as by eating food that is too heavy or too fatty, and by excessive consumption of alcohol, coffee and nicotine. Excess stomach acid can irritate the stomach lining and cause symptoms such as heartburn, stomach pain, a sour taste in the mouth and reflux (the rising of stomach acid up the oesophagus).
Rennie® Antacid Spearmint is sugar-free and therefore suitable for people with diabetes.

Directions for use
Dosage and administration of Rennie® Antacid Spearmint:
- Suck 1 or 2 lozenges one hour after main meals or at bedtime.
- If you are already experiencing acute symptoms, you can also take 1 or 2 lozenges straight away.
- However, you should not take more than 11 lozenges per day.
- Use in children under 12 years of age is not recommended.
Duration of treatment: The duration of treatment depends on the type, severity and course of the condition. If symptoms persist for longer than 2 weeks whilst on treatment, you should consult a doctor to rule out a more serious condition.
Ingredients
- The active ingredients are calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate. 1 lozenge contains 680 mg of calcium carbonate (equivalent to 272 mg of calcium) and 80 mg of magnesium carbonate.
- The other ingredients are: sorbitol, pregelatinised starch, potato starch, talc, magnesium stearate, paraffin oil, mint flavouring, sodium saccharin.

sehr wirksam
ich reagiere auf viele Lebensmittel mit Sodbrennen. Es reicht eine Tablette Rennie aus, damit es mir wieder gut geht. Sehr zufrieden.
