How do Lemocin® lozenges work?

Lemocin® ProHYDRO throat lozenges do not treat sore throats. They moisturise the throat and pharynx thanks to their specially balanced formula of natural marshmallow root extract, biotin, vitamin C and sweeteners. Biotin contributes to the normal function of the mucous membranes. Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system.

Marshmallow root extract, biotin and vitamin C

The mucous membranes in the throat and pharynx are put under particular strain by many factors: dry air, insufficient fluid intake, speaking intensively, or even as a side effect of certain medicines or medical conditions. Yet the mucous membranes are the first line of defence against pathogens, and an overtaxed throat mucosa can severely impair your well-being. That is why it is important to support the function of the mucous membranes in good time. This is achieved on the one hand by keeping the mucous membranes moist and ensuring an adequate intake of fluids. On the other hand, a varied diet plays a role. This should include: sufficient biotin, which contributes to the normal function of the mucous membranes. The mucous membranes in the nose, throat and pharynx form the body’s first line of defence . To support the immune system, Lemocin® Pro contains vitamin C. This versatile vitamin contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system.

Cooling effect frommenthol

Directions for use

Children aged 4–10 years: 1–max. 4 lozenges per day; allow to dissolve slowly on the tongue.
Adults and children aged 11 and over: 1 – max. 8 lozenges per day; allow to dissolve slowly on the tongue .

Ingredients

Ingredients: Sweeteners sorbitol and erythritol, thickener xanthan gum, flavouring, vitamin C (as L-ascorbic acid), safflower concentrate, colouring agent copper complexes of chlorophyllins, anti-caking agent magnesium salts of fatty acids, marshmallow root extract (Althaea officinalis L.), anti-caking agent silicon dioxide, sweeteners: steviol glycosides from stevia, biotin (as D-biotin).
