LEITNER Lifecare Lithium 1 mg capsules are a product containing lithium orotate – the salt formed from orotic acid and the trace element lithium. 1 capsule contains 26 mg of lithium orotate monohydrate, equivalent to 1 mg of lithium. Essential nutrition for plants containing the microelement lithium.

Lithium is slightly less common in the Earth’s crust than zinc, but more common than cobalt, tin and lead. Lithium salts are also widely found in brines, where concentrations can reach up to one per cent. Like many organisms, plants also benefit from lithium in low doses: in sunflowers and maize, for example, a concentration of 5 mg of lithium per dm³ promoted growth. In amaranth, too, lithium stimulated plant growth at low concentrations.
