Ketesse 25 mg oral solution is an analgesic medicine from the group of so-called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs, pain and inflammation inhibitors).

Indications:

It is used in adults for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderately severe acute pain, such as pain in muscles or joints (e.g. back pain, pain from sprains and acute injuries), menstrual pain (dysmenorrhoea) and toothache. This medicine is intended for use in adults.

If you do not feel better or even worse after 3-4 days, consult your doctor.

Directions for use

Adults over 18 years: The generally recommended dose is 1 sachet (25 mg) every 8 hours, maximum 3 sachets daily (75 mg).
Use in children and adolescents: This medicine is not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
Route of administration: Oral use. Place the entire amount of granules directly on the tongue and, once dissolved in the mouth, swallow the granules directly or with a glass of water. Ketesse can be taken with or without food. Taking Ketesse with a meal helps to reduce the risk of an upset stomach. However, if you are in severe pain and need faster relief, take the granules on an empty stomach (at least 30 minutes before a meal or any food intake) as they will be more easily absorbed by the body.
Duration of treatment: If you do not feel better or even worse after 3-4 days, consult your doctor.

Ingredients

The active ingredient is dexketoprofen (as dexketoprofen trometamol). Each sachet of oral solution contains 25 mg dexketoprofen (as dexketoprofen trometamol).
The other ingredients are ammonium glycyrrhizinate, neohesperidine dihydrochalcone, methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (E 218), saccharin sodium, sucrose, macrogol 400, lemon flavouring, povidone K-90, disodium hydrogen phosphate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, purified water.
