Lemon balm or lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) is also known as the honey flower, bee's breath or heart's comfort. The white, yellowish or bluish lemon balm flowers from June to August and prefers a sunny location. It contains many essential oils, which is why it is particularly popular in the kitchen for teas, smoothies and salads. Its leaves contain tannins, bitter substances and rosmarinic acid, among other things.

Melissa officinalis - "melissa" is Greek for honey bee - originally comes from the Mediterranean region and now grows throughout Europe. It can also be found in the wild in forests and along forest roads in Germany.

Lemon balm is one of the herbs that bestselling author Anthony William particularly emphasises. As he rejects the use of alcohol, the tinctures he recommends are made with vegetable glycerine as an extracting agent. We have deliberately decided against glycerine from monocultures such as rapeseed, maize or palm oil. That is why we use vegetable glycerine from organic linseed for our alcohol-free tinctures.

Our alcohol-free lemon balm liquid is made from fresh lemon balm and made into a strong extract immediately after harvesting. Before bottling, the alcohol-free lemon balm tincture is shaken regularly and left to mature for at least three months.

The cultivation of the lemon balm is 100% in our hands and the sowing, harvesting and processing is carried out by our trained team, guaranteeing the highest quality standards. The plants are cultivated and processed without the use of chemicals or additives.
