KAL Betaine HCL+ 250mg tablets are a food supplement with betaine HCl (betaine hydrochloride) and pepsin. One tablet provides 250 mg betaine and 130 mg pepsin.

Betaine HCl Plus 250 mg provides 250 mg betaine hydrochloride and 130 mg pepsin to support the breakdown of proteins and fats from food. Betaine is a component of gastric juice which, together with proteolytic enzymes such as pepsin, is responsible for the enzymatic breakdown of food. For this task, the stomach produces between one and two litres of gastric juice every day, which consists mainly of hydrochloric acid and proteolytic enzymes (proteases). Betaine HCl Plus 250 mg provides nutritional support for the breakdown of proteins and fats from food.

How to use

Take 1 tablet with or immediately after meals. Do not chew the tablet!
Advice: Do not use in the case of gastric or duodenal ulcers or unclear gastrointestinal complaints.
