Hylo-Vision® Gel sine is a sterile, preservative-free, highly viscous wetting agent. It contains hyaluronic acid and is used for improved and long-lasting moisturisation of the ocular surface. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that also occurs in the structures of the human eye and in the tear film and is therefore particularly well tolerated. It is characterised by a high water-binding capacity, adheres well to the surface of the eye (mucoadhesive properties) and is viscoelastic.

Hylo-Vision® Gel sine thus moisturises, moistens and protects the surface of the eye and ensures an even, stable and particularly long-lasting film of moisture on the surface of the eye. Hylo-Vision® Gel sine thus provides intensive moisturisation and long-lasting relief, especially in cases of severe and chronic dryness. It is also suitable for post-operative and night-time use.

Hylo-Vision® Gel sine is well suited for wetting contact lenses. This significantly improves the wearing comfort of contact lenses.

Hylo-Vision® Gel sine can be used for the following indications:

for dry eyes, e.g. caused by Sjögren's syndrome
environmental stress, e.g. from air conditioning, wind, cold, dryness or air pollution, for example from cigarette smoke
fatigue and visual stress caused by intensive viewing, e.g. at computer screens, microscopes or long car journeys
mechanical strain, e.g. from wearing hard or soft contact lenses or diagnostic eye surgery.

How to use

For external use only.

Wash your hands before using Hylo-Vision® Gel sine.
Separate a single-dose container from the latch. Make sure that each single-dose container is undamaged.
To open, twist off the flat end of the one-dose container (do not pull).
Now tilt your head back (neck position) and pull the lower eyelid slightly away from the eye with your free hand. Instil one to two drops of Hylo-Vision® Gel sine into the conjunctival sac of each eye. Take care not to touch your eyes with the single-dose container. Close your eyes slowly so that Hylo-Vision® Gel sine can spread evenly over the surface of the eye.

Alternatively, if the drops are used in conjunction with contact lenses, apply one to two drops to each contact lens before inserting them into your eyes instead of placing the drops directly into your eyes.

Hylo-Vision® Gel sine can also be dripped while wearing contact lenses.

After initial opening of the single-dose container, Hylo-Vision® Gel sine can be used for twelve hours (12 h). The single-dose containers should be resealed after opening.

Ingredients

Sodium hyaluronate (0.30 %), sodium chloride, sodium monohydrogen phosphate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate, purified water.
