Application
- Clean the wound: A clean and cleansed wound is the first step towards optimal healing. To effectively protect the wound from infection, spray Hansaplast Wound Spray onto the entire wound from a distance of approx. 10cm to remove dirt and visible particles. Repeat if necessary. Then carefully dry the wound and the surrounding skin.
- Protect thewound: The second step is to protect the wound from external influences such as dirt and bacteria to allow it to heal undisturbed. Protect your wound with a Hansaplast Sensitive Dark plaster or a sterile wound dressing from Hansaplast. Unless otherwise recommended by your doctor, the plaster or sterile dressing should be changed daily.
- Heal wounds: In a third step, you can help your wound to heal safely, quickly and with less risk of scarring. To do this, apply Hansaplast wound ointment regularly until the wound is completely healed. Hansaplast wound ointment can be used on smaller, superficial wounds at any stage of the healing process. If necessary, cover the wound with a plaster, a sterile wound dressing or a Hansaplast compress.
