- HYLO NIGHT® improves the tear film and protects the surface of the eye.
- HYLO NIGHT® is a particularly soft and smooth eye ointment that spreads very easily over the surface of the eye. The vitamin A it contains is a natural component of the tear film, which helps ensure the ointment is well tolerated and mixes well with the eye’s natural tears. This helps to relievethe sensation ofburning, dry or tired eyes. The eyelids glide smoothly over the cornea and conjunctiva.
- Exposure to air conditioning – for example, in a car or on a plane – as well as wind, cold, strong sunlight, poor air quality or cigarette smoke often leads to burning or itchy eyes , accompanied by a sensation of dryness or a foreign body sensation. These symptoms canalso be caused by focusing the eyes for prolonged periods, for example whilst working at a computer screen for long periods, watching television or during night-time
- car journeys. If contact lenses are also worn, the risk of these symptoms is even greater.
- HYLO NIGHT® relieves these symptoms and forms a comfortable, long-lasting protective film over the eyes. The ointment’s high-fat consistency may cause a slight impairment of vision. HYLO NIGHT® should therefore be used primarily before going to bed.

Dosage form
Directions for use
- Tilt your head back slightly and use the finger of one hand to pull the lower eyelid awayfrom the eyeslightly .
- With your other hand, hold the tube in an upright position over the eye. Apply a small amount of ointment into the conjunctival sacby applyinggentle pressure to the tube.
- Slowly close your eyelids.
- After use, the tube should be carefully resealed.
