GeloTonsil® gargle is used as supportive therapy for inflammation of the oral and pharyngeal mucosa. The mild, non-irritant and alcohol-free gargle relieves sore throats and swallowing difficulties by mechanically removing pathogens and applying a protective gel film to the inflamed mucous membrane and moisturising it.

Area of application

GeloTonsil® gargle gel is used as a supportive therapy for inflammation of the mouth and throat mucosa. GeloTonsil® gargle gel relieves sore throat and difficulty swallowing by acting as a protective film on the irritated throat mucosa.

Active principle

GeloTonsil® gargle works physically. When gargling, the viscous gargle forms a protective film on the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat and moisturises them, protecting them from drying out, irritation and external influences that can cause a sore throat. The irritated and inflamed pharyngeal mucosa is rinsed by the application of GeloTonsil® gargle, which mechanically removes sore throat pathogens, especially viruses. The gel-forming ingredients xanthan gum and hyaluronic acid create a protective gel film on the inflamed mucosa, soothing it and protecting it from further external influences. The hyaluronic acid contained in GeloTonsil® gargle gel increases the moisturising capacity and strengthens the adhesion of the protective film on the mucous membranes. It also contains dexpanthenol as a moisturising ingredient. Irritated areas can regenerate.

How to use

The recommended amount for gargling is 1 tablespoon (10 - 15 ml) 3 times a day. Avoid eating or drinking for about an hour after use so that the protective film adheres optimally.
Use in children: Do not use on children under 3 years of age. Children aged 3 years and over should only use GeloTonsil® gargle gel if they can gargle safely.
Method and duration of use: GeloTonsil® gargle is ready to use and is used undiluted for gargling. Use a tablespoon for measuring. Gargle with undiluted GeloTonsil® gargle for about 30 seconds. Then spit out GeloTonsil® gargle and do not rinse. Accidentally swallowing small amounts of GeloTonsil® Gargle is harmless.
Duration of use: GeloTonsil® Gargle should be used for several days until the symptoms subside. If your acute symptoms worsen (e.g. fever, throat swelling, aching limbs) or do not improve within 3 days, please consult your doctor.

Ingredients

GeloTonsil® gargle contains: Xanthan gum and sodium hyaluronate.
Other ingredients: Purified water, xylitol, dexpanthenol, disodium hydrogen phosphate, citric acid, hydrogen peroxide and sucralose.
