GUM® AftaCLEAR® mouthwash provides rapid relief from painful mouth ulcers and other irritations of the oral mucosa. Its unique formula, containing hyaluronic acid, accelerates healing and protects against new lesions.

Oral mucosal lesions, also known as chronic recurrent mouth ulcers, are painful sores that can occur on the tongue, gums, palate or on the inside of the lips and cheeks. With oral mucosal lesions, the top layer of skin inside the mouth is missing, which means that nerve cells are exposed. Eating, drinking, air and saliva can irritate these exposed nerve endings, causing even more pain and slowing down the healing process.

This mouthwash acts as a barrier to protect the sore and promotes healing and pain relief, so that you can get back to your normal life as quickly as possible.

Directions for use

2–3 times a day (after meals); more frequently if necessary. Rinse with 10 ml for one week or until symptoms disappear. It is recommended that you do not eat or drink for at least 30 minutes after use.

Composition: Sorbitol, water, propanediol (Zemea), water, propylene glycol, sodium citrate, Mucosave FG (maltodextrin, extract from the stem of Opuntia ficus-indica, extract from the leaf of Olea europaea), polycarbophil (Noveon AA-1 USP), PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, taurine, Geogard Ultra (gluconolactone, sodium benzoate, calcium gluconate), xylitol, citric acid, sodium hydroxide, sodium hyaluronate, SymRelief (bisabolol, Zingiber officinale root extract), flavouring, sucralose, Stevia rebaudiana extract, colourings (CI 19140, CI 42090).
