Application
- In-ear earplugs (inserted into the ear canal).
- The earplugs consist of two parts: the coloured, round filter and the transparent earplug (Figure A). The filters are already fitted into the larger earplugs (M: Ø 8–12 mm). First, try this size of earplug. If this proves difficult or feels uncomfortable, try the slightly smaller earplugs (S: Ø 6–11 mm), into which you will then need to insert the filters.
- Reach over your head with one hand and pull your ear slightly outwards and upwards (Figure B); with the other hand, use the tab to insert the earplug into the ear canal until it fits snugly. Replacing the filter: To remove the filter, press the earplug lightly just below the filter until it ‘pops’ out of the earplug (Figure C).
- To insert it, guide the filter – with the “ear symbol” facing outwards – into the larger opening of the earplug. To do this, position the filter at a slight angle and insert the underside first. Then press the “ear symbol” gently downwards to position the filter correctly in the cavity (Figure D). Only a correctly inserted filter can provide the certified noise-reduction effect!
- Removal: Remove the earplug slowly using your fingers. Do not use any tools!
